Hit the road shortly after 5, arrived at the ramp a little before 7 after a detour at Rodney. One parking machine was down and the line up for the other was a few people deep. Ran out to 57, marking fish right away at 40, so dropped a rigger with a black & gold rrf at 38. First fish on before I had the second rod fully deployed with a 40 jet. Nice fat 'eye, who did the doh-see-doh in the net like a laker and buried the rrf tail hook so deep I had to remove the hook from the split ring, and work on it after re-settiing the line. As the RRF was temporarily parked I pulled out my go to cotton cordell blue bomber (discontinued model, of course) which took the second fish as I finally got the hook out of the net. Pulled him in, and send the bomber back to work. by 9;15 I was culling with the livewell, the bomber doing most of the damage as I was working a small patch of the lake where this school of fish was feeding. By 10:30 I had 15 in the boat, and the bite was slowing down, so started trolling in. Rigger took most fish today 65 - 75 back, 36 - 41 down, at speeds of 2.2 - 3.0. Jet did squat. Dipsey got one and a knock off. in line 3 ounce weight with a deep diver took nadda. I ugly sheep. No bows.
Really like the fish cleaning station addition.
