This is basically the same view but from last November. I've been taking photos of the erosion on this field for years but this is the worse slide to date. The bluffs are like a layer cake made out of clay and different types of sand and when you add a 4 inch plus rainfall like we had,,,,, somethings gotta give.

Would help if the farmer left a decent buffer zone. Can only drive on the edge of a cliff so many times..

Buffer edge of trees won't stop this erosion EthanC this has been going on for a long, long, long time. How do you think Long Point got so big ? Geologists figured there was approx. 22 more miles of Norfolk County out there that eventually eroded away to become Long Point and predict it won't stop until it reaches the moraines south of Tillsonburg.
