If you are heading out to O, you may want to launch at Port D. The ramp at Jordan is so low that getting out centred is only possible against the wall, which is now about 3 foot above the gunwales on my 18 footer. Last two pics are for comparison - May 2018 and June 2019 - that being the highest water level I have recorded on film. The wall in pic three is underwater in the last one, and the boat i is against the dock at a 45 in pic 1
It was a beauty day - three colour with a 3 inch flicker shad ticking bottom was the best rod of the day running in 25 - 35 fow. If you can, get out before next week's crap returns. The coloured water was also out much deeper than normal for this time of year and we saw people fishing in 50, maybe even 70 fow - kings should be arriving any day now, if they aren't already in the area. Water temps off Jordan were in the 42 range, getting colder - other than in pockets - the closer we went to Port D of W of Jordan.
