Noticed a few reports on the web about walleye showing up in creels of shore anglers fishing along the D. Checked out the boatnerd camera and it looked pretty open around Belle Isle.


Also, noticed more cameras covering the "D" on the Canadian Coast Guard, ice monitoring site... Livingstone Channel, for example:

Wait a few hours,, with this east wind I’m sure parts of st Clair will be coming down shortly!

Its almost that time @stomp soon it will be packed cant wait to go jigging and get some detroit river eyes .

Medway Creek, close to where it dumps into the Thames, was pretty open and flowing fast... just a couple of short weeks for the Londontown urban walleye season until it closes.
