Long Point Bay Live Aug 9

Looks good. Good luck Guys. I’m at turkey point and trying to wake the kids so we can head out to the elbow and lighthouse for the first time ever. Hope to see you out there. If you see a white Lund (18’) say hi.

Great day out north of the Long Point lighthouse! @Three Bouys was of the opinion that the fish that had been stacked up there were scattered due to yesterday's big storm. Action was good enough to keep us entertained... 7 picks, 2 rainbows, 1/2 dozen or so farm animals and such. Wind picked up around noon but no problem for the Wellcraft heading back into Old Cut. That boat is made to fish the Outer Bay. Thanks for the day on the water @Three Bouys... good to fish the lighthouse again ....
 
Well done guys. We went to the lighthouse as well and parked on the beach but the flies were horendous so we started trolling back to turkey point and the lake churned up. Picked up 1 bow and 6 eyes then lost a rigger on the way back in ?. Pedestal broke if you believe that. Never seen anything like it so I’m in the market for a cannon mag 10hs if anyone has one for sale.

Thanks for the day as usual @stomp and @Mickey Finn There’s always an open seat for you guys. Hopefully we can do it again before we hit the other toothy slimmy pike.

Thanks for the report. Sounds like a fun day was had by all. Not wanting to wish ill will on anyone but a relief to see that "tangled messes" happen to others - so it isn't just this rookies issue.
