It’s been years since I’ve ate a bow, coho or even a laker. I’ve ate many coho’s back in the 80’s when they were plentiful at the Lighthouse and absolutely got sick of eating them. But today we call it the Elbow.
After Tuesday’s catch of 18 Walleyes and 5 Bows I decided to do some more smoking from old times. After an over night soaking in brine that I found tasty from when I did them in the 80’s it was time to get smoking them this morning.
After 4 hrs in the smoker they were done and they tasted awesome.

Now I need a smoker too????????? :eek::rolleyes:

Hard to beat the coho's on the BBQ on a cedar or maple plank... Nice job on the meat treats...
