Couple of friends asked me to join them for à walleye fish today....wind didn't look good for Erie
...so decided to hit Oakville for salmon
Rods down by 5:30 am had a nice chop 1-2' waves
Setup in 95' trolled to 150 ...never marked anything so headed shallower towards cement plant ???
1st fish rainbow in 142 on 10 colour behind inline board with MS bloody nose
Started making bait in 90 -106 fow 20-40 down
2nd small king on rigger 50 down on blue alewife
Long pos played shallow marked lots
Changes setups
Got a screamer on dipsy with flasher / fly took several 100'runs...pulled other rods landed nice king 18lb +
Got 2 nice coho 7-10 lb on wonderbread and blueberry muffin
And lost another fish
Decent day 5/6
Wind picked up at 11 so back to dock before noon.
