Off Topic Worm burners

Just wondering does anyone use and have success using worm burners (spoon with double hooks)
As a result of my "tackle addiction)
I bought several a couple years ago because they look good....ive never actually used them.
Can u troll any faster with them??

I used to use them all the time in the East end of the lake and they worked great especially the blueberry muffin one. You can troll way faster with them than a worm harness, up to 4mph or so and they still run fine. I don't run them in the West end because the worms seem to be a magnet for the junk fish.

I rarely use worms in central basin ...but on Monday we tried spoons and ripplin redfin s as well ...but all our fish were caught on worms....but our speed was set for worm harness not faster like I usually run spoons and body baits

So kinda thought worm burner might be best of both worlds ..run them faster with spoons and bodbaits and see what produces first or most
I think with higher numbers of fish....i am going to experiment with nèw luŕes and techniques this year.

I catch fish on them running 5" Senko's instead of deworms. Seems to catch less bass and sheephead. This color seems to work.
