went out today with my kids n a buddie... 58ft was the ticket.. Also watch out for those nets darn things sneak up on ya if ur not watching ..

A great day for you and the kids plus great weather. How were the bugs? The last few times we went west of the bay the bugs drove you buggy.
I don't know why those nets aren't marked better. A white Javex bottle in the middle of this huge lake doesn't stick out like a sore thumb, especially when the nets are full or there are whitecaps. It's insane. Almost got in trouble a few years ago south of the Stacks as that net was so full the tops of the markers were almost sunk. We were 30 feet rom the nets and I only noticed because my screen turned red. I lost 1 Dipsy, I just cut the line when it started screaming, I was told it was a fish, maybe I'm not finding out.
Why not those huge red balls like they use to mark Crab pots on the oceans.
