my dad and i hunted separate fields opening morning and each harvested a nice tom. his was 20lbs with a 10"beard and 3/4" spurs and mine was 21.5 lbs with an 11" beard and 7/8" spurs.

definately a lot of picking away i use peroxide instead of bleach sure whitenes them up thanks again. other than my time i use about $8 in peroxide (which will definately do more than one skull)so it is definatly cheaper to do it myself anything i've seen on the web ranges between $150 and $200...
hey wads44 its tough making sure you get all stuff out of all the little crevices very time consuming but i love doing it definately worth all the work when you see the finished product. thanks for commenting

yes i did all the work myself. it is definatly time consuming but i love doing it i'm in the process of doing a wolf now can't wait to see how it turns out as i've never done one before. if you have any questions just message me i've done quite a few now. good luck

hello everyone i need to touch up my mallard decoys and just wondering what the best paint to use. if anyone has done this recently, any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. hunting season is just around the corner and starting to get the itch.
