The water levels for all the Great Lakes have now officially exceeded last years levels at this time. The levels for Lake Erie were actually quite high in early summer 2012 (now) but a persistent drought eventually took its toll. Having normal water levels for the 2013 waterfowl season now seems very likely. With higher water already and the water tables topped up it is extremely unlikely we will face last seasons dilemma this coming fall.
