News in the Thursday's Simcoe Reformer confirms that Bill passed away yesterday, Wednesday December 6th at the age of 66. Bill was best know in our angler community for his small mouth bass charters. He would guide small groups to the hottest bite in Long Point Bay whether it was in the Inner Bay, at Bluff Bar or at Nanticoke. May he rest in peace!

Sorry to hear that Arnie and though I did not know the man I can certainly relate to the loss.

I had the great privilege to know Mr. Pargeter. I was lucky enough to have him as my teacher growing up and to have my first Lake Erie small mouth fishing trip on one of his guided tours that I still remember and still have not broke my pb smallmouth weight from that day in his boat. He was and still is a great man, teacher, human being and one heck of a fisherman. Rest In Peace Mr. P thank you for all the memories and the life lessons you taught me until we meet again fine sir.
