Pickerel vs Walleye: Setting the Record Straight

I went today ice fishing for pickerel and did not catch any walleye
? oh wait maybe it was the other way around and went to fish for walleye and did not get any pickerel
4 hours of fishing 2 perch and 1 pike
Or was it chain pickerel?
Oh I give up ?
I went fishing !

@hvyhaul I am glad that the thames river is open right now for casting,because last year at this time,it was frozen over in most places.With the ice fishing season on long point bay not happening right now,or even for this year,it is nice to be walking a riverbank instead somewhere. ? ? ?

hey @Wave Runner Red Lake is the town i was born in but those pickerel were caught in Gullrock Lake just outside of Red Lake....here is a picture of our Pickerel feast on sunday,, not one piece of fish or french fry left...i'm still full lol...Pocono
