Well…well….what a nice day. We were out in front of Collins Harbour and the perch were hungry. We had basically non stop action from about 11am till 2pm. Minnows were the bait of choice and we used two scoops of big minnows cut into pieces…..with last 15 min using worms. Finished with 65 really nice perch with about the same thrown back. Great day, so glad the kids wanted to come out and play on the bay. We scaled and butterfly filleted all of them. Also got a couple of pike……one hooked bad so we kept it.

You are living up to your Avatar name @jumbos for those are some beautiful “jumbo” perch!! 👍👍 Enjoy your jumbo perch fry to you all!! 🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟😋😉👍🙂

I was out in the same area as you, using minnows as well but was not blessed with quite so many big ones. I'm with Red Hering on this one - Jumbos in an appropriate handle for you👍. A family Thanksgiving on the water in fine weather...doesn't any better than that😁.
