I just got off the telephone with Anthony Rumleskie, Unit Superintendent. The message to all patrons is as follows. This morning only blinds/shooting points 17, 33, B3, B5, B6, DU Goose Pit and part of B-zone were open. (i.e. not iced in) Walk outs are accessible but frozen solid. According to weather forecasts significant improvements are not expected until Monday of next week. Anthony said the Unit was expecting a busy weekend and that they would try to warn reservation holders but this notice is the best they can do to provide others with the same information.

Hello Duck Soup,

I saw the individual that was hunting in B Zone and he looked pretty cold ... had a nice spread with eight (8) spinners too.

I also saw the boat blind out at Blind 33 which still had plenty of open water.

Things look real bad for tomorrow ... see my update.
