Took a northern buddy out for a fish near the Elbow this eve. The east wind was still manageable in the 20' skiff. 1' - 3' chop with the odd roller mixed in.
All I can say is that it that the fish are still there. We caught 17 in two hours, releasing a few small ones. We started with four rods, but left one out. Two lead cores 4 and 7 with a rigger at 27'.
North/south troll worked, but with the waves we didn't get a sniff.
Great day on the outer bay again. Not a boat around except for this fella. Not sure why his sails are not up.
