WOW----if you couldn't/didn't get out today you missed a beauty

Three of us headed out of Burwell around 8 under overcast skies, light breeze and a calm lake to play in for a change.

Went east to "silver barn"/ sand hills???? and set up in 44 fow. Action was ON from the first minnow dropped and never slowed down once til we ran out of minnows around 12:30. (five scoops worth). Tried to see how other people in the pack were doing----saw a few caught but was just a little busy. Think the fishing had been hot all week ----talked to a couple of folks at the ramp who also did well

Blew our mind to see the number we had in the baskets----when we finally got home and counted them-----105 perch made the trip with us.

Around noon started to get warm and there were some rain clouds building-----passed thru a couple brief showers on the way home. Back home around 3:30 and two of us took on the cleaning chore---two hours later said good bye and home to Momma and a nap.

Only a few junk fish( gobies, couple sh*&heads and one white perch

Pier fishing just aint gonna be the same now:D:ROFLMAO::):D:D:D:D:D

The "BUS" will never be the same Welcome to the "deep" side:D

Where is silver barn? I'm new to lake Erie and trying to learn from other posters. Lots of good infos, thanks guys.

really not sure was just a guesstimate---friend who was driving the boat told me all you can really see is the roof but if it helps it was approx. 7? miles from where we launched at Big Otter Marina
