No # or name on it. Found south of long point lighthouse. Long way from Burwell but who knows how far it could have drifted. If nobody claims it ill give it to Derkd9 to replace his.
Still getting a few every season. Last two years we had 3 in one day but had been a couple of years since we had even boated one before that. Dont target them.... not enough around for that. Keep fishing deep water and you will end up with the odd one.
SEA STAR hammered them Saturday along with lots of others. ...in 30 yrs I've never seen that many boats fishing in LPB. Pretty sure all the good fishing is out of Burwell and Bruce so dont know why they would be here getting in the way . .....lol.......
Have to agree with mick on this. That's likely a king......have been catching more of them the past few years off long point. Once in a while we will hit a screamer LT but never near spooling us. I'd guess you hit it in the side while it was lying there up high and you never had a chance of...
Before doing anything as far as socks and trolling plates you may be able to adjust your trim to be less efficient. I've been able to drop almost a mph when trolling just by changing the trim. Good luck....
Glad you realize speed of your presentation is one of the most important aspects of...
Nice fishing Arnie. Lake O was really good this spring on the south shore. Almost a full on chinook bite over there with only a few Lakers and coho....not one Atlantic this spring on Sea Star. Always a great day to be able to catch multiple species....with the legal Atlantic in there for good...
Lol...I've been doing this for 34 years... with a pause in the 90s. You're going to have way better stories in a few years. Last year a customer helped me out with a fish....hook in knuckle ...cut off and taped it up until er doc removed it... could have lost use of the finger. Hope you're face...
All...I've taken a look each week and have had no need at all to post as information is available. This year has been even better than last year....limits on the Sea Star have been the norm. I have to admit that to get a cooler full of 24 pics likely takes longer than if we were at Port Burwell...
Hook of lure onto first eye seat above the reel. Wind leader around reel starting at the lure end (must wind on from lure end as opposed to diver end of leader) until dipsy is just above the reel. Reel up line until snug. I pull down on the leader section and pass the snubbed under the reel so...
Try Nick Foxcroft from Moby Nick fishing chatters. He's in Port Credit. He builds really nice items when not fishing. Just look up his web site for the contact number....if you have trouble shoot me message and I'll give you his #.
Had Wilson and More or Les out today for a fish finding mission. Have been fishing well west but the water has changed a lot in the past week so thought we'd see what's in the August spots. We looked for a couple of hours deep just east of peacock.....only 1 eye although lots of marks....picked...
