Port Dover minnows

There used to be a gas station on Main street right in Port Dover that used to sell minnows. Its been a while since I have been there, and don't think the gas station is there anymore. Does anyone know of any other place in the vicinity that sells minnows?.

haven't heard of anybody that sells minnows in Port Dover---after Wells closed shop people are either dipping their own or bringing them in from out-of-town

I was thinking the exact same thing . The old wells was for sale a while ago with bait license.

its been a while..but we use to net emerald shiners right below misners dam...

another easy spot is the little port bruce pier...120 minnow limit = 10 dozen
bruce smelt should be on there way dipnetting the creek and pier..enough for a meal
