Whit spots in catfish

Today we caught a few nice catfish in Dover. When we cut them up there is a bunch of small what dots in the fillets. Can some one tell me what it is and is the meat no good?

White grubs. Harmless to humans but not appetizing. Says Mr Google.

If they are the same as can be in perch you can let them sit overnight in salt water or milk and they will all come out of the meat. Regardless seeing that makes it so you don’t want to eat it
