shot a drake mallard today however it was a little odd. It looked like a normal green head however every where that is gray on a green head was white on this bird and the bird its self was much larger than a normal mallard. I was wondering weather this bird would be a cross with something else or weather it is an very old bird which caused the feathers to turn white. I will try to post the pics. Oh ya its not a common merg or a golden eye it is definatly a mallard.
