Any of you guys happen to vacation there at all and fish largemouth in the ponds?
 
have a place in Heritage Bay Naples and fish the ponds all the time with excellent results.just keep an eye out for the gators!
 
There is bass close to 10 lbs in some of those ponds. Texas rig worms and scum frogs right at dark
 
You could be right Bobo. Moved a couple of big ones tonight,released eight smaller ones.
 
Just returned from 2 week stay in Lake Placid, 1.5 hrs north west of Fort Myers. Kids routinely caught 3-5 lbs large mouth. Simple shinner rig, kids had a blast with the fight.
