Tip of long point

Weather was beautiful out on the water today. Started fishing near the tip of long point running 4 lines. Was none stop action at times with rods firing simultaneous. Caught around 15-20 pickerel and kept 10 with biggest being 7lbs. All hits off spoons and gold Mepps spinners, running between 60-90 feet of water down between 25-40 feet. Also picked up 1 rainbow. No farm animals. After a bit moved to the inside of bluffs bar for an hour to try for some pike and bass. Fished around 18-22 feet of water. Caught another 5 pickerel and kept one at 5lbs. Also released one 5 lbs pike, 1.5lbs small mouth and a 10+ lbs Musky. All hits were on spoons.

One heck of an LP Bay Day @Slammin Salmon ! Always good to see a 'ski come out of the Bay!

Yes it is always nice to see some skis out of the bay, got this one in 22 feet of water using 3 colour leadcore with a watermelon spoon trolling about 2.5 mph

Was also lucky enough to get out early to the elbow,under extreme pressure to boat a fish early ! Got the other half up too early with her claiming the fish are still sleeping.Well got a nice rainbow straight up ,with a walleye to follow,I showed her!! All came on worm harness with spin-n-glows on 5 colors,riggers lake trout-sheep head -silver bass.Had a great swim at the light house beach.Set up again and boated 2 more walleye on harness ,then off too buff bar,marked all kinds of bait at bouy so she dropped a worm and found perch.Bow mount control battery died so with ice melting and fish to clean,headed home.Looking forward too calm water !!!
