My kid in Ancaster has been without power since 14:30, saw a clip on CTV news of waves hitting shore and actually splashing onto the roofs of the buildings. Not sure of location on Erie shore.

Unfortunately, morning will reveal to us all what happens tonight.

Hopefully minimal damage.
