Fishing Report Successful opener

Hit the creeks early 6am ish. Water was high and clear . No browns but connected with some beautiful specks. Biggest was a hair under 14". Lots around 10 to 11.
Kept one for the pan. Didn't even see another person, drive by big creek and it was a zoo. People lined up elbow to elbow!!!

Neighbor beat me to the honey holes this morning...his property...but still landed 3 specks in the 8 inch zone lost 3 at the Bank and many hit and runs. Found a shed as well which was a first for me. Great morning spent on the creek.

1st time in over 40 yrs I went out on opening day . Tried our new honey holes , 2 carp 3 suckers and 1 nice little brown ( released ).
Last wknd lost a pike .
