Hi guys,
Second time out with the new to me boat got some walleyes Got lucky
Just wondering about some guys catching the rainbows
Open to any help,,, colours,,, FOW,,,, fishing depth
Thanks

I find if u put a cheeter line on the rigger and let it run down seems to produce when the fish are here flutter spoon

If it's steelheads you're after; use a magnet.....

As @erie feeln said, spoons. A cheater line is a fishing line that is on a planer board release hooked around the downrigger cable. Usually 30 - 60 feet behind the boat.
Good luck!

I like the Magnet idea....
Just got the used boat,,,, no down rigger or planner board,,,, end of budget for this year
Can tell I'm new,,, forgot to mention fishing out of Burwell
Thanks for the responses

@Arrow try using dipsy divers to get your lines down low then. It is a cost effective way of achieving depth.

Ya that is what the budget allowed,,, on 107mm dipsy set on 3 and running 82mm set on 0,,, how much line out would you run out
What do the rainbows like for colour
Thanks HTHM
