Had a fun day on the hard water. Set up at 8:30 in 8???. Had fish one in 10 minutes. Released a few dinks and decided to keep an 8??? for luck. Started catching and quickly developed into a shit show with multiple double and triple headers for nearly an hour. Fish got bigger and bigger as the morning went on until we were into 11-12??? slabs???. Then the pike showed up??? had him up to the hole 3 times until we finally landed him. Was watching him on the camera just laying in the silt until he settled enough to feed again. Was a riot watching it all on tv, lol. Ended up with 27, mostly beauts and a nice eater pike in about 6 hours. So nice to be out there again, although a tad windy!
