Some pictures of summer in Hearst

Walleye

Hi all.

I take my boat north for the summer so reading all the posts has been fun. sounds like a good summer of fishing in and around Lake Erie.

Number one and I had a great summer spending 62 days in the bush between May long and yesterday. I thought I would share some pictures. Caught a 29.5/ 29/ 28.5 and 28 as our largest Walleye. June was crazy fishing. At one point I caught 29 Walleye in 1 hour 40 minutes 100 feet off my dock.
Then July came and it got hard. Then August and some days just a few Pike. September w
as Brutal with only 15 Pike and a couple of nice Perch for 2 days.
All good though.rps20140916_172335.jpgrps20140916_173129.jpg rps20140916_172910.jpg rps20140916_172335.jpgrps20140916_173129.jpg rps20140916_172910.jpg rps20140916_173015_771.jpg rps20140916_172530_842.jpg rps20140916_172335.jpg rps20140916_172335.jpg rps20140916_173129.jpg rps20140916_172910.jpg rps20140916_173015_771.jpg rps20140916_172530_842.jpg

Thanks for Sharing Walleye.Congratulations on your Success!! My neck is sore though from looking at the picture`s.:rolleyes:LOL Good Luck the rest of the Season.

RED FISH.

I got an app that reduces the size of the pictures but it wouldn't lock the rotation. I have the auto rotation on my tablet off so I just spin the tablet. Ha.

We brought the boat home early this year hoping to hit the bay before it gets to cold. Should have been out today.

I hope to see and meet you and number 1 on the Bay this year Walleye.First,I have a trip up to the Muskokas planned again later. Then,I will be on the Bay up to the point of the Bay Freezing up.Hopefully the Perch will be there consistently, compared to the last Winter of Ice Fishing(4 Trip`s), which was SLOW,for me anyways. ALL the Best,& Catch LOTS!! ;)

Can't ask for a better 62 days then that. Up by Hearst, not far from my home town. Am from Cochrane I do miss the north for sure but always make sure to go up for 3 or 4 weeks of the year. Can't wait moose hunt in 2 half weeks. No tag so will be fishing a lot. Lol. We'll good luck on the bay. I to hope to do a trip up to the bay before ice will see.

Legend 1984. The reason for bringing the boat home early was also partly because 5 in our party for Bow and no tag. My bro inlaw in Red Lake got a bull his daughter a bull and his son a cow for gun and applying as singles. Both kids 18 and under still living at home????

Maybe next year all though in 8 years I have only seen 1 Moose within 100 km of Hearst.

Walleye. I no what you mean. Not sure how this tag system works but they should change it. This is the second year with no tag with 9 of us in the group. And that riffle. Oh we'll take the bikes out for some grouse maybe get a bear and def some fishing.
Good luck too all.
