Can anyone suggest a good rod/reel combo for cats? I would prefer a baitcast rig. In the streams I usually fish they run 3-15lbs so I don't need anything too heavy duty. Oh and I fish mostly from a kayak. TC
I use a 7' medium compre baitcaster for cats in the 3-10 lbs range. I bottom bounce in parts of the grand so their is little to get hung up on. I would go MH if you need to horse the fish in from structure.
