My husband and son headed out to Hastings today (without me)!?.,<xx)&*!) I am not sure that anyone loves to fish more than I do!
I 'm having my 2nd rotator cuff surgery next week and my Doctor apparently dosen't appreciate fishing as much as I do) and warned me to cool it till next season....bla bla bla.
Lake was nice and calm and so it seemed the perfect day to make the trip. After arriving and watching the boat next to them haul perch in every couple of seconds....the fish finally realized our boat had arrived and kept the guys entertained for the next while till they caught their limits.
Walt says anyone can catch perch but look what he picked up. A very memorable, first time for them at Hastings! (Just a distant dream for me.....)

I did enjoy a fresh perch dinner tonight though.
