This Weekend is North Erie Marina's 2nd Annual Perch Derby!
Door Prize: Fishing Charter with The FAMOUS Jimmy Riggins!!
Sunday June 23rd 2013, Rain Date Sunday July 7th 2013
Start: 6am
Finish Time: 2pm
Weigh In: 3pm

**CASH PRIZES for 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place**

There will be a boat docked down near the flats with a bucket that your tickets must be placed in by 2pm to qualify to have your fish weighed. Within the next hour we will have everyone out or docked for weigh in ceremonies. We did this last year and it worked out well.

Rules:
1. Every Person on boat must purchase ticket
2. Must abide by all boating and fishing rules
3. Decisions of Judges are final same day and are not subject to appeal
4. There are no boundaries, but you can't start till 6am and finish time is 2pm. Boats will be checked upon starting for fish.
5. Five Fish Weigh In

Tickets are $20 each with 80% going towards 1st, 2nd, 3rd place and 20% going towards The Heart and Stroke Foundation in Memory of George Coates (Long Time Marina Customer)

Should be good! We got tons of prizes BIG thanks goes out to Edu-Cast, Jimmy Riggins, Dixie Dairy Bar, and Interstate Batteries. Hope to see a good turn out again this year. Last years 1st prize was over $500!!!
 
Plan on being there.
As for the rain date when will you make the decision if it's a go for the 23rd.
So far forecast is looking not bad for Sunday.
Don't want to spend almost 2 hrs to get there only to find out it's postponed.
 
Hi Woodsman! We are hoping the weather will be great, but we will make the call by 5pm on Sat if we have to change it to the rain date.

103.1 Fresh FM will be making an appearance between 2-3pm in their summer cruiser as well as hot dogs will be sold on the launch ramp. Should be a FUN day @ North Erie Marina. Who's planning on coming???
 
Sorry Greg & Sam, had a great time last year but gonna miss this one, outboard is still in the shop......see you again soon (I hope). Good Luck to everyone!
 
We are in for 2 in the boat. Hope to improve on our 5th place finish last year. Silversam, are you going to run out of minnows again this year?
 
Well we did run out of minnows we did win some prizes and we did have a great time . That is right up till my wife and I got home and had to clean 100 perch , wow it took us 3 hours to clean them ! Something wrong with that it only took us 2 1/2 hours to catch them . Already looking forward to next years derby . GREAT JOB SAM and thanks to all the sponsor's your contributions will not go unnoticed .
