Is a east wind bad for peir fishing in Bruce I wanna go down tomora morning and see what I can get

We tried Normandale today. It was pretty slow for us. Lots of boats just out in front of the peir. Didn't look like they were doing much better.

The locals said they were getting a few big ones the night before.

You hear that a lot from the "locals". Unfortunately it's true. They really come and go in Normandale. I've fished there twice the last week or so and haven't connected but the one morning a guy had a dozen or so. He was catching about one an hour when I was there. I didn't have any minnows and only caught a couple. He fishes there a lot and he said they are sporadic at best. The one good thing is it doesn't matter what time you go, you can catch them at 5 in the morning or 2 in the afternoon. TC
