Hi Everyone,
A couple members have been asking what's with all the bass boats in town this week. The Ontario BASS Nation is holding their annual qualifier tournament out of Turkey Point this weekend. This event is held once every year in a different location. Angler's qualify through their home clubs/chapters to fish this event. From this event the top 10 Pros and 10 Ams get to travel to the BASS Eastern Regional Tournament next year.
If anyone is around this weekend feel free to drop by the event tent next to Turkey Vegas. The host chapters, Erie Bassmasters and Hamilton Bassmasters will have lots of raffles happening and give sways during the weigh in Saturday and Sunday.
Tomorrow, Friday, is the Ontario BASS Nation Provincial Championships for the Junior and High School divisions.
Weigh in each day starts at 3pm.
The LPBAA area helping with the live release component of the event to make sure all the fish make it back to the water safe and sound!
There are drinks and food to purchase as well at the Event Tent beside Turkey Vegas in the MacDonald Marina.
