Wondering if anyone uses these Rods for planer boards. I'm looking to upgrade at least 4 rods and reels and have chosen the reels but confused about the rods.
If you use a different trolling rod for your planer boards let me know i would like any opinions.

Hi moe, short rods if alone easy to net fish. Long stiff rods for quick rlease.
Long soft rods that don't release as easy for days when your reeling in multiple
Fish at a time, and rough water, they are easy to tell if yore dragging a fish by the bend
But soft enough to let them hang on for a while.
