Off Topic New ice fishing sled

After years of pulling all kinds of crappy sleds out onto the bay I decided to build something decent , I’ve been a welder for 20 plus years , I had plenty of steel around from different projects, I used an axel out of an old snowmobile trailer that I narrowed, I kept the hubs on the axel so I can put wheels on it ,total cost was under 200 bucks , 60 of that was just for a gallon of paint

Looks good, but a couple of questions, why the slope? did you make a top (cover)?

The slope is just because that’s how much material I had around but I think it should be the other way , I might end up with a lot of snow inside coming off my back wheels , if it does throw a lot of snow in I might do partial or full top , I plan on trying it as is and see if it needs a top
