Started vacation a week ago Tuesday and went looking for some eyes. Slow start but after a search found 5 pics in the 5 to 8 # range. Returned Saturday to fish SLA. tourney. Ended the day with 8 pics and 3rd place. Back out on Sunday for a quick mid afternoon fish and landed another 6.All the fish came in the same area. 65 to 70 fow . Depth was 25 to 35 . A variety of body baits and spoons with Ripplin Redfins the best producer. Went back out this past Tuesday to the same area. 5 hours and only 1 hit that was lost before being seen on a broken snap swivel. (time to replace older snaps ) . Time to find them again. trolled out to 85 fow and found 2 eyes and 1 bow in an hour before having to call it a day. Both the eyes came high up as well. Bow down 45'.
Found a can net that started in 75 fow and went south. The new larger yellow cans are much easier to see than the white jugs!
