My Elderberries are gone !

I have 3 big bushes of Elderberry and the birds ate almost everything. Last time I seen them they were just starting to turn colour but I guess the heat and humidity sped up the ripening process ? Looked like a bumper crop too. Noticed all the wild grapes are ripe now too. I could fill a 5 gallon pail with no trouble .
Wild blackberries weren't as abundant as last year but I think the birds and bees or the heat got to them first.

Did good on the black cap berries but totally missed out on the elders. Checked the patch on day and they were close then a couple days after they were gone..cleared right out.
