Fishing Report LPBay

Had the opportunity to hit the bay this morning, launching from Booth's harbour. The only wave on the bay was the one that our boat made. It was just like a sheet of glass at 8 am. On a tip from the local bait shop, we headed west and tried our luck in front of Shady Acres trailer park. It wasn't long before my fishing partner found a couple good sized perch. We were joined by other boats by 9 am and judging by the fact that most of the boats stayed in the area, I can only presume that they were having the same luck as us. At the end of the morning, we had a dozen decent size perch, a couple of Rockies and blue gills all caught by drowning worms. (No minnows to be found). It was a great fall day on the water. Warm, favourable wind and sunshine.
