Not me on Family Day @Derkd9 likely way too busy,but I will go instead on another day through this coming week. Good luck if you are going ice fishing tomorrow.

I decided not to go since the call for so much snow, was random day off I was expecting g to work
so I didn’t get to plan ahead.
I keep putting off buying a tent and an electric auger since I don’t actually get the chance to ice fish too often
I have a sled and pretty well all the other gear.
Sooner or later I’ll give in and get the expensive tent and auger lol
I have a jimmy riggin hut booked for Saturday really looking forward to it.

@Derkd9 I was ice fishing near jimmy riggin’s ice hut’s this afternoon
off the long point provincial park area where his ice hut’s are setup,and the perch fishing wasn’t too bad!!

We ended the day with 32 , could have kept more but I can be pretty selective on what I keep 
I ended the day with 11 perch and 4pike. Well @Yakfisherman I didn't find your Williams or my perch rig, dinner bell spoon, or my z-viber INSIDE a jumbo perches mouth now inside a pike 
(photos of them with fish before I lost them) All I found inside one of my pike was someone's lost perch with a hook, sinkers and snap swivel.
It only took my dumbass losing 3 lures perch fishing before putting on a wire leader which the perch didn't care about as long as whatever i dropped down the hole had a minnow on it. One thing I did notice once I saw a pike come by was they weren't too interested in the larger spoons i would drop down. Smaller spoons and smaller minnows on them were the ticket
What an amazing day yesterday and a very productive spot i chosen away from the pack.
