Made the three hour run from simcoe today
just a heads up The public ramp is closed due to construction
but Cove Marina has their ramp open. $30
Fished the river and out to the last channel marker.
just trolling. Tried different colours and such
fishing these critters is new to us so there was some experimentation
green colours worked for us with the biggest lure catching the smallest fish and Muskie. Her fish were 39” and 37”.
saw others doing better with what looked like darker body baits with orange on belly.
long drive but well worth the day off work
