Fishing Report Lake Ontario

I’m hoping to try Lake Ontario on Wednesday for the first time! Thought about going out of Oakville. Any info would be greatly appreciated! Good luck the rest of the day!

Finished the day with 9 fish in the boat
Last only 3
Few knock off
Last hour or so no bites
Dang east wind ,waves going over break wall
Few nice teens and a few cohos ,2 shakers
Hopefully back at them tomorrow on lake O or Erie

Out of Oakville
Set up in 75 fow east of port most bite were 120'-150'
Riggers set at 33' and 56' down
Best bite was on flasher / herring strip
Second behind dipsy on #3 back 135' with spindoctor/ fly combo blue/ green fly
Green spoon on second rigger got a few
Second dipsy spindoctor / fly combo not a hit " green fly " changed out to leadcore with spoon not a hit
Speed at GPS 2.7-3.1 at ball 2.6-2.9
When the waves picked up was hard to keep speed constant
East wind suck ???

Be early at the boatlaunch as people with cars only took up 95% of the designated vehicles with trailer only spot despite there are huge signs stating it in your face when you get there, early in the morning was only 1 trailer there
