I thought I would show a couple pics of our Lake Nippissing trip in between Burwell and LP trips!!

As I have always said! I don't need fishing trips when family vacations are like this!!!

Nice Pike, kinda looks like the West end? Heading up first week in September, care to share what was working?

Nope! Stayed at Tama Kwa in Callendar! East arm! Lol.

Rock shoals and weed beds at the Manitou Island!!

How was tamakwa? I'm at nanmark right now and it's fantastic, but my wife is looking for a place that has a sand beach for our youngest. The beach here is pretty rocky. The fishing has been excellent this week!

You did well on walleye considering only 2% of fish are keepers on nip. Let me know next time you're going, there's a hot spot near callander nice and deep, if you're interested.

Cottages are nice, beach is a sandy but for a bit on the walk in is rock then sandy the rest. Are kids have been coming here since they were 3 and the beach has been fine(14 yrs later).

Also we are up to 5% of the walleye caught we're keepers! We stopped coming here for the sole purpose to harvest fish but to trophy hunt for big pike, bass, and walleye so the regs that suck here don't really affect us.

Won't be up here until next year so if I remember it will get the points.

Are you trolling for the pike and walleye? We have been going to Tama Kwa for 12 years in the spring but haven't ventured out to Manitou Islands
