What i love about this is all together their were 150 people. Some swimming to shore others hopping ice. Still leaving 40 to be rescued by the coast guard

I prefer the Detroit River for a dip this time of year. The factory and sewage treatment discharge gives you a degree or two bump in temp.

There are many senior outdoor sportsman that are fit and have valuable knowledge to foster new sportsman.
I think it is offensive to Senior Citizens.

The comment was a tongue-in-cheek remark made in regards to a certain 70 year-old mentioned recently in the press for having ventured out onto LPB ice in gale force winds and subsequently needing rescue. Maybe offensive to that one senior citizen... but not directed at all senior citizens
