Late afternoon/evening Port Burwell.
Ran out to 64-65fow and started back north.
Deep diving cranks on braid/planner boards & couple harness off the dipsy divers. Tail dancer 1st to go again just like last time.. same color as last too, silver flash.
Picked off fish here and there while tweeking the spread and zigging & zagging back north till we hit 60-59fow then 2 rods go(bass & eye) few minutes later 3rods go(all eyes).
After a few figure 8s and passes over the area the we found the best direction, speed & bait presentation for the rest of the run.
Quick as you could pitch one or cut one and set the line back up there would be another 1 ready to reel in. At one point i ran the crank off the corner instead of the planner line just to see if it would go and it still produced.
Nothing fancy, just a rod/line counting reel and deep diver off the corner of your boat and your in the game. How sweet is that!
2.7-3mph. East-W or West-E troll was best by far.20230715_012319.jpg
Tail dancer out 125-175ft off the planner boards. Deeper diver out 80-90ft on 0.5 setting with gold harness best over all combinations witnessed.20230715_034754.jpg
Gold Worm harness was the best bait fished off the dipsy.. Down side of that bait was you really had to watch the rod. 1 quick tap then nothing for 20mins or more..bring it in to see what's what only to notice just bits of worm left. Re-bait it ,send it out, TAP! then nothing.
I got burned a lot while setting a line or steering the boat, try not to take your eye off the prize and BRING LOTS OF WORMS. The up side of that bait was the fish it did take were worth taking!

With fish ranging from 13-25" taking the TD's colors didnt seem to matter as long as it was TDD9 out 125-175ft. Even a decent perch was sold on the presentation.20230715_014621.jpg.. up high.. 59fow.. south with a little east.

Once again a great report 6G and your change-up and experimenting worked well. Always an enjoyable read and sounds like constant action which makes for a great night on the water. NIcely done!!
