anyone know where to buy a transponder on the cheap?
How can I check that it is indeed the transponder?
 
I keep getting "transponder not connected" message. I did find a screw pinching the line and taped the bare wire as the Internet said to do but that didn't fix anything.
 
Sorry Mike I sent you on a wild goose chase. I meant to say Angling Outfitters, 577 Dundas St. Woodstock. On.
 
Angling Outfitters is mainly a Lawrence dealer, try Proctor Marina they are a HB dealer and don't you mean transducer??? If so put it in water you should be able to hear it clicking, if so then it's working if not then it may need replacing......
