Does anyone know what the round thing is? This is the power supply to my new Hummingbird.

The Helix 9 uses a Humminbird PC11 filtered power cord so I would assume that it is a filtering device of some kind.
Just found out from Humminbird site that it is a built-in electrical noise filter.
