We left the dock at 5:30pm due to dead batteries, thanks to ron at brad fields for letting us use his booster pack. Went south of Burwell to 59' and started trolling east towards the group of boats. Picked up our first one around 6 so we turned around to try that spot again and picked up another one just past our waypoint. Kept heading west and the fishing got crazy. At about 8:45 we had a quadruple header with 3 guys and one net and two more on right after that. All the fish we caught were off the bottom, lead cores were 10 back, dipsey's were 150 and 110 back and down riggers were 52' and 58' deep running 2.7 to 3.1mph. orange crush, red monkey puke and black and gold rippling redfin were the hottest lures, although we got fish on everything we put out. Back at the dock for 11:15pm and it was a dark ride in, fish shut down shortly after 10.
