First time of this perch season out on Sunday
its not Lake Erie due to water clearety we chose lake Huron out of Goderich
Slow start first in the morning water temp low as 34 f to high as 36 f
Got into a few by 9:00 am and the bite turned off by 11:00 am lot of small relesed kept a few keepers for tonigths dinner

Was thinking about going to Goderich. If u don’t mind how deep where u fishing

Is there anywhere to buy minnows in the area?

U can usully get them in the harbour with a dip net along the ship

I mix my own , very simple
Flour , Hungarian paprika , cracked black pepper , I salt the fish 10 min before cooking
And dust in the mix just before put in hot oil
So it stay crisp
