False Advertizing/Spam?

What's up with the banner "you have a message" at the top of the page?
Seen it before and it's not a message but a link to Spam.
I have no problem with advertisers but when the deceptively represent their ads as a message it's wrong.

Hey @Woodsman, agree that's not right. The ads come from Google and I have the ability to reject ads that are not appropriate. If I see it, I'll try to block it. I have done that with PETA ads for example, because I figure most here would not be interested.

Well I found one that advertised a message from my guardian angel. I clicked it and my guardian angel suggested that I tie myself off to a car bumper and climb up on the roof... I blocked the ad...
