This is the first year i have ever gone for fall smallmouth. My brother and i caught 20 with a 5lbs being the largest.

We weren't that far. Just looked for different humps with varying depths

That's if you're keeping them. The limit for catch and release is infinite as long as you're fishing in season and according to regulations.
